That’s where a resume bullet point generator can really help you. I tested 27 resume bullet point generators this past month and to save you some time, I’ve ranked them for you.
If you’re new to my articles, I’ve been in recruitment and hiring for the past 20 years. I’ve recruited for Fortune 100 Companies to Startups and worked with thousands of hiring managers throughout my career. I know what makes a good resume bullet point and what doesn’t.
In the examples I share below, I used the job as a recruiter to test each one. So let’s put these AI bullet point generators to the test.

Rezi Bullet Point Generator
Rezi is an AI-powered resume builder that can help you generate bullet points. I tested it using a recruiter title and it performed well in providing relevant ideas for my resume.
What I Liked About the Generator
Rezi’s AI suggestions were good. They incorporated more specific relevant information than the other generators I reviewed. The suggestions included items such as candidate experience, compensation analysis, diversity hiring, phone screens social media databases, and more. I appreciated this because it helped me generate more ideas than many of the other resume programs.
The suggestions also included some achievement-based statements such as, “Sourced qualified applicants for multiple positions, resulting in a 20% decrease in time to fill and a 45% reduction in cost per hire.” I also felt like these achievement suggestions were more in touch with relevant information compared to other generators.
What I Didn’t Like
Unlike other softwares, there were limits on how many bullet points I could generate without buying credits. The credits are very affordable, but I was only able to create 10 suggestions for free.
One thing that I wish it did better was offer more context-based suggestions. For example, it suggested a bullet point about conducting phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidate skills and experiences. But this would be better with context. It could have read, “Conducted 45 phone screens and 20 interviews weekly to evaluate over 400 applicants per month for skills and experiences.” None of the bullet points included context placeholders.

Teal is an impressive software that can help keep your job search organized and build resumes with the use of AI. It’s like an AI resume builder and job search CRM (customer relationship manager) in one.
What I Liked About the Generator
Teal is one of the best AI bullet point generators for achievement-based statements. No one even comes close to them. Every bullet point suggested included a result and how it was obtained. Teal really understands how to construct a solid achievements-based bullet point.
What I Didn’t Like
The biggest drawback with Teal’s bullet point generator is that it provided 0 context-based statements. It didn’t produce any suggestions about things like the scope of work or volume. If use this generator, you’ll have to make sure you incorporate context on your own.
Teal is one of the most limiting when it comes to free AI bullet point generator usage. You can generate a few, but you do have to buy a subscription to really get the full use out of this generator. Luckily, it starts as low as $29 per month and comes with everything Teal has to offer. I still think it’s one of the best deals out there given how advanced this software is when it comes to creating achievement-based bullet points.

What I Liked About the Generator
First, I loved that they had sample resumes included in their software program that you could start with. They’re already prefilled based on the job title you are seeking and provide a great start to generating your resume bullet points.
This program is the opposite of Teal. While Teal was by far the best when it came to achievement-based bullet points, Hiration excels at context-based bullet points. Some of the suggestions included things like screening 200+ candidates, mentoring 15 junior recruiters, organizing 25 job fairs, and performing 30+ background checks each week. All of these provide much-needed context for hiring teams to want to interview you.
This generator gave me the most bullet point suggestions for free out of any of them I tried. I was impressed with the quantity of suggestions. This can be very helpful when determining what may work for you based on your experiences.
What I Didn’t Like
This generator provided next-to-zero achievement-based bullet points. This is a problem because, without these, you don’t tell hiring teams that you’re actually good at the work you do. So what if you performed 30 background checks each week? Were you good at it? While the bullet point generator doesn’t offer any real suggestions for this, the AI resume review does flag bullet points for achievements and lets you know you should include them.
The good news is that if you knew how to write achievement based statements, you could easily take the suggestions and add relevant metrics to them.

Kickresume is another ChatGPT-powered AI resume writing program. I would say it rivals Teal’s capacity to suggest really good achievement-based bullet points.
What I Liked About the Generator
This resume bullet point generator is simple to use and was great at suggesting bullet points with achievements. It does a solid job of combining what result you obtained and how you obtained it. I would say it even rivals Teal’s AI software in its ability to do this.
Furthermore, when I tested it for bullet points for a Corporate Recruiter I thought it produced relevant suggestions. It spoke about reducing time-to-fill and increasing qualified candidate pools - both extremely relevant to this job.
What I Didn’t Like

Enhancv Resume Bullet Point Generator
Enhancv is one of the best AI resume builders on the market. One of the things it can do is make AI suggestions for your bullet points based on the job title you enter. Now, I haven’t tested all of the job titles that you can choose from, but I’ve tried a couple and it’s a good starting place to collect ideas if you’re stuck.
This week I tested it out with the title of recruiter and talent acquisition specialist (both of which gave me the same suggestions). So, here’s my analysis.
What I Liked About the Generator
First, it gave me nearly 20 ideas to work with. I thought that was good because not all of them would apply to me and my resume.
Second, the suggestions it gave were a good blend of contextual information and achievements. Both of these are important if you want to write an effective resume. For example, it gave me a context bullet point about “conducting 3 in-person interviews per day.” It also gave me achievement bullet points such as “Filled 20+ positions for a company in 4 months, with no turnover.”
You can use the AI bullet points as much as you want. There is no credit system and you don’t have to buy anything to use it. You do however, have to upgrade to a plan in order to download your resume after the free trial.
Lastly, I was impressed that it took into account recruiting bullet points from both a corporate recruiting perspective and an agency recruiting perspective. It gave me suggestions that were sales and client management-based (agency side) and purely recruitment side.
What I Didn’t Like
I’m going to say this for every generator out there. You can’t use the information it suggests as is. I have not found a resume generator that is sophisticated enough to understand any particular job, the KPIs most companies set for those jobs, what success would look like, and what contextual information would be helpful to your target audience.
In other words, it’s a good place to start brainstorming ideas. It’s not a substitute for knowing how to write a good resume. With that being said, I did think that other generators were closer to the target with relevancy than Enhancv.
I also didn’t like that some of the bullet point suggestions were too vague. For example, one suggestion was, “Expanded overall department efficiency by 30% by correcting controls for recruitment.” That sounds nice, but what does that mean? It’s very unclear.
But if you took that and expanded upon it, you could make something very good. You might say, “Increased job offer-to-interview ratios by 30% by standardizing job briefings with hiring managers.” That’s better.

This company is fairly new to the resume software space and has a good product.
What I Liked About the Generator
I liked that you could prompt it. All of the other generators only work based on a job title. But with this product, you can type a sentence about your work experience and it can influence the results. This allowed me to slightly improve the quality of bullet point suggestions.
What I Didn’t Like
This doesn’t really have to do with the resume generator’s capabilities as much as the setup, but I was turned away by how much effort it was to sign up for the program. You can try it for free, but you have to answer quite a few questions for their sales team first.
Wonsulting has a very distinct resume writing process and its AI tends to follow that defined logic. Because of this (I suspect) it provides no context-based suggestions. And you really need context with results. Hiring teams need to know that you’re good at the things you write about, but they also need to know the context around it.
For example, it’s one thing to be good at something when you’re only doing 2 per month. It’s another to be good at it when you’re doing 2,000 per month of something. Context matters.
