As a recruiter and hiring manager, I often spoke with applicants who had terrible resumes but were more than capable of doing the job. In fact, some of my best hires were those who had the worst resumes. But recruiting isn't typically done this way. Recruiters and managers don't typically interview people with poor resumes.

Learning to write an effective resume will be one of the most important things you do to advance your career, make more money, and ultimately achieve the rewarding work that you deserve.

Resumes aren't black and white. There's no one right way to create one. But there are wrong ways. I'll make sure you avoid the wrong ways and I'll show you some options to write a resume that resonates with employers, differentiates you (yes, even if you don't have any accounting experience), and substantiates your claim as the top candidate for the job.
