About Alex
I’ve always enjoyed learning new skills and using them to help others achieve their goals. I’ve worked with hundreds of financial service organizations as an auditor for the government and now today as a consultant for a public accounting firm. And through the Optim platform as a coach, I share my knowledge and expertise to help others grow their careers so you too can experience the fulfillment and success that I have.
I’ve held different types of positions throughout my career and I don’t believe that you have to follow a unilineal path or that your career path has to be the same as everyone else’s. I began my career in the federal government, transitioned to private industry, and I am now in public accounting. I’ve obtained many insights about hiring styles and what different types of organizations value. I’ve used this knowledge to help others find rewarding work in many different industries and I can help you too.
Today I spend most of my time mentoring early and mid-career professionals on building great interpersonal communication skills, the importance of building relationships, reviewing resumes, and providing informational interviews to aid others with their job search plan or interviews.
